Wanda Marie Heatherly

Wanda M. Heatherly, age 78, a resident of Hackers Creek Rd. Philippi passed away Wednesday May 23, 2018 in United Hospital Center. She was born February 5, 1940, in Philippi, a daughter of the late Ralph and Icy (Evix) Jones. Wanda was united in marriage on October 16, 1959 to Edward Eugene Heatherly who preceded her in death on November 23, 2009. Surviving is One son, Ralph Heatherly and wife Karen of Bridgeport Sister, Virginia Strawser and husband Richard of Kingwood Two brothers, Larry Jones and wife Bunny of Philippi Donald Jones of Charleston Two step-grandchildren, Angie Mueller and Jeremy Ward Nine step-great grandchildren, Brittany, Briana and Tyler Orndorff, Brandon, Hayleigh, Caleb and Victoria Ward, Josh and Jordan Anderson One great-great-grandchild, Amelia Raine Hill Wanda was preceded in death by brother, Richard Jones; sisters, Jean Long and Carol Ann Davis, and step-granddaughter, Amy Orndorff Wanda a homemaker Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday May 26, from 10 am – 12 pm. Interment will follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery with Pastor DJ Maley officiating.
