Wilma Charlene Poling, age 70, a resident of Brushy Fork Rd. Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday August 12, 2014 in the United Hospital Center. She was born February 27, 1944 in Mt. Clare, WV a daughter of the late Boyd and Gladys (Fenton) Edwards. She was twice married first to Olen M. Nutter and second to Thomas E. Poling both who preceded her in death. Surviving is
Two sons; Olen M. Nutter Jr.
John H. Nutter and wife Sondra both of Bridgeport
One brother; Lawrence Edwards and wife Judy of Rosemont
Four grandchildren; John Nutter Jr. and wife Vicky, Lori Nutter, Justin T. Nutter, Christopher R. Nutter
Four great grandchildren; Hannah, Landon, Hailey, and Aubrey Nutter
Mrs. Poling was preceded in death by one brother Ronald Dale Edwards Sr. Mrs. Poling was homemaker; she enjoyed gardening, farming, camping, and fishing. She was a protestant by faith.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday August 15, from 4-8 pm and on Saturday August 16, from 8 – 11 am the service hour with Pastor Norman Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
