Carl Junior Weaver

Carl Junior Weaver, age 67, of Philippi, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born March 27, 1959, in Taylor County, the son of the late Arnold and Annie (Croston) Weaver.

Carl was united in marriage to Beverly Ann (Mayle) Weaver, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.

Carl worked as a supervisor at Delta Cooler for over 16 years. He loved his job and took great pride in the work that he did. Carl was truly a jack of all trades and was always willing to work on anything that needed attention. If something needed fixed, Carl was the person to call.

Above all, Carl loved his family. He especially cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and nephews, making memories that will be treasured by his family for years to come.

Carl is survived by his wife, Beverly Ann Weaver; son, Carl James “CJ” Weaver and partner Katelyn Torrence; grandchildren, Braxton and Cameron; mother-in-law, Diana Mayle; brother-in-law, Delbert Mayle; brothers, Harold Weaver and James Weaver; sisters, Carol Croston and Mary Weaver; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by brothers, Danny Weaver and Donald Weaver; and sister, Cathy Weaver.

Family and friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home and On-Site Crematory, 220 N. Walnut Street, Philippi, on Thursday, August 13, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Strawderman officiating. Carl will be laid to rest in Welch Cemetery
