Doris Ann Frantz age 85 a resident of Philippi, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was born August 28, 1937 in Philippi a daughter of the late William and Mary (Fisher) Shanabarger. She was united in marriage for over 40 years to Ernie Frantz who preceded her in death September 27, 2016. Surviving are children- Lea Frantz of Tampa, FL Mark Steven Frantz of Charleston, WV Jeff Frantz of Tampa, FL Tim and Diane Frantz of Nashville, TN Sister, Mary Jones of Elkview Sister-in-law, Virginia Shanabarger of Philippi Brother, Marvin Shanabarger and wife Helen of Dillion, SC One granddaughter and three great-grandchildren Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Robert Shanabarger. Doris was a homemaker, she enjoyed quilting and walking. She was a Jehovah Witness for over 60 years. In honor of Ms. Frantz’s wishes, she will be cremated.
