Dorothy L. (Shahan) Tincher, age 77, a resident of Barbour County Good Samaritan departed this life on Saturday March 26, 2011. She was born September 3, 1933 in Barbour County a daughter of the late Chester and Ruth (Delauder) Shahan. Surviving are
Five daughters: Janet Golden and husband Gary
Helen Biggs and husband Raymond
Patty Hoffman and husband Jimmy
Clara Biggs and husband Ralph
June Fenstermacher
Four sons: Robert Shahan and wife Kathy
Albert Everson
Larry Everson and wife Linda
Mike Canfield, all of Barbour County
19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren
Three sisters: Lucille Johnson
Patty Canfield
Donna Jean Taylor
Four brothers: Waldo Shahan
Frank Shahan
Ronnie Shahan
Larry Shahan, all of Belington
Dorothy was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, one grandson, and granddaughter. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sitting with the Elderly.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday March 28, from 10 am-2 pm the service hour with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
