Elmer Grant Thompson ("Tommy"/"Junior"), 84, of Belington WV passed away on July 25th, 2022, at Talbott Personal Care Home in his sleep due to natural causes. He was born on July 8th, 1938, in Washington DC.
He served as a paid firefighter for over 22 years in Chevy Chase MD, and as a police officer for various jurisdictions during his lifetime.
He is survived by siblings Paul, Pat, Linda and Terry; his children Doug, Steve, Valda and Ivan; his grandchildren Andrew, Kayla, Karley and Daniel; and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I heard my brother Charles speak of him often they were friends as teens. I know my brother found him in 16 or 17 he was so happy to get to see him.
