Flora Ann McGee

Flora Ann McGee, age 81, a resident of Philippi, passed away Sunday September 5, 2021 in Davis Medical Center. Flora was born on March 28, 1940 in Bergoo, WV a daughter of the late Hugh and Kate (Crouse) Moore. Flora was united in marriage to her husband of 39 years Charles McGee who preceded her in death in 1995. Surviving is Children, Charlotte Wagner and husband Richard of Gaston, SC Connie Bennett and husband Donald of Philippi Julie Montgomery and husband Daniel of Brownton Rocky McGee and wife Allyson of Hampton, VA Sister, Phyllis Knight of Ohio Brothers, Robert Moore and wife Delores Jack Moore of Galloway 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren Flora was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Cleavenger, son John Wesley McGee, grandchildren, Max McGee and Brian Cleavenger, brothers, Bud, Arden, Blair, and Russ Moore, sisters, Mary Jane Bartlett, Peg Young, Clara Belle Moore, Josephine Huffman. Flora was a homemaker. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday September 8, from 11 am- 1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Pastor Randy Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Mask are required for anyone attending while in the funeral home.
