Ginger Marie Phillips

March 21, 1975 ~ October 30, 2019

Ginger Marie Phillips, age 43 of Stonewood, WV, formerly of Belington, WV, passed away at home of her daughter with whom she made her home with surrounded by her family on October 30, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on March 21, 1975 to the late Frank Delino Winsor and Judy Francis Sullivan. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynsie Carter and husband John of Stonewood, and Whitney Phillips of Weston Grandchildren, Paisley, Pressly, Remington and Karson Brothers, Earl Winsor of Ohio and Frank Winsor of Missouri Sister, Mary Winsor of Iowa Nieces, Tiffany Taylor and husband Eric, Ranae Richardson and husband Greg, Crystal Delauder and great niece Raylynn Coberly and great nephew Waylynn Coberly, Rogenia Mayle and husband Travis, Liza, Alma, Maria and nephew Chuckie Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Kenneth Clyde Phillips, Jr. III Ms. Phillips attended the schools of Barbour County. She enjoyed playing for the Barbour County Special Olympics. She was an avid collector of movies and wolves, and loved her grandbabies dearly. She will always be remembered for her jokes, playful humor and always picking on her friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home, 220 North Walnut Street, Philippi on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10:00am-12:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm with Pastor Leonard Ludwick officiating. In accordance with Ms. Phillips’ final wishes to be buried next to her son, interment will follow at White Oak Cemetery.
