Hilda May Serback, age 75, a resident of Concord, NC passed away Thursday December 11, 2014 in CMC North East Hospital in Concord, NC. She was born April 29, 1939 in Arden, WV a daughter of the late Henry H. and Nola D. (Upton) Street. She was united in marriage on April 17, 1960 to Stephen Serback who preceded her in death on March 25, 2001. Surviving is

Hilda was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by four brothers; Wilbur Streets, Harold Streets, John Streets, Armand Streets, and sister Malinda Louise Moats.
Hilda worked as a housekeeper and also did catering.
Hilda was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth Catholic Altar and Rosary Society, St. Titus Christian Mother in PA, she enjoyed cooking, reading, and crocheting.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday December 14, from 2-8 pm. A biblical wake service will be at 7:30 pm on Sunday. Visitation will resume on Monday December 15, from 8-9:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Fr. Jim O’Connor as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.







Dear Family & friends of Hilda, My beloved Aunt, last remaining sibling of my Father (John Streets), it is so sad to see the last of a family pass away….Julie & Jim may the Holy Spirit guide you during your time of grief loosing your Mother & right before Christmas, I believe is even a tougher thing to handle!
