Issac Jr Collins age 54 of Philippi went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2016. He was born October 13, 1961 in Philippi, WV the son of Dottie Lou (Collins) Miner and stepfather, Winfield and the late Alston Mayle. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann (Newman) Collins whom he married December 8, 1980.
Together they have three children, one son Junior Dale Collins and wife Jessica; two daughters, Ashley Dawn Foltz and husband Josh; and Jamie Lynn Walter and husband John all of Philippi.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Joshua and Connor Foltz and Brianna and Brayson Beavers all whom he loved very much. He was eagerly awaiting the birth of another granddaughter and grandson.
Also surviving are two sisters, Delores (Sissy) Dalton and husband Gary of Grafton; Rose Matthews and husband Randy of Minerva, Ohio and one brother, Lee Newman of Canton Ohio. Several nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Lula Mayle.
Junior lived his life to the fullest, he loved being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and traveling. He will be greatly missed and loved by all.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday, February 22, from 10 am-8 pm and on Tuesday, February 23 from 8-11 am the service hour with Rev. Dolly Smith officiating. In honor of Junior’s wishes cremation will follow the funeral service.

Ashley, Tommy and I r so sorry to hear about the passing of your father, we never met him, but i know he was a good father, and loved those grand babies, we will b praying for u and your family in the days, weeks, and months ahead, believe me it will b hard but just lock on to God, and he will lead u thru this.

Dear Becky, Im so sorry to hear about Junior. I will be praying for you as you grieve and adjust to life without him. Life was difficult with all his physical problems, and even though you coped well, Im glad the struggle is over. Dear Jr you were my big brother and I will always keep your memory close at heart. I will forever cherish the memories that we have shared. Im really going to miss you. But on the other hand Im so happy that you are spreading your wings no more sicknes, nor pain for you. Give dad a big hug from me and tell Mark Randal I said hi.
