Lensie Owlen Paugh Sr.

Lensie Owlen Paugh Sr., age 79, a resident of Elkins, passed away Friday November 5, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Lensie was born February 24, 1942 in Barbour County, a son of the late David and Ruth (Phillips) Paugh. Lensie was united in marriage in 1993 to Helen (Pumphrey) Paugh who survives at home. Also surviving- Children, Lensie Owlen Paugh Jr. and wife Cassie of PA Jeanie Gambrill of MD Tina Saffle and husband Tim of Audra Community Gina Gandy and husband Jeremy of Volga Michael Healey and wife Carolyn of Elkins Mark Healey and fiancé Amanda Summerfield of Montrose Sister, Shelby Jean Beery and husband James of TN Brother, David Paugh and wife Susan of OH 18 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren Lensie was preceded in death by brothers, Roger and Glen Paugh and granddaughter Precious Ann Potter. He was the owner and operator of the Plant Hut, he also worked for International Harvester as a painter, and was a driver for Texaco. Lensie enjoyed going camping, fishing and traveling, he also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday November 8, from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. In honor of Lensie’s request cremation will follow the services.
