Omar Webster

Omar "Sonny" W. Webster, age 72 a resident of Fordsville Nursing Home, and a former resident of Philippi. passed away at 6:10 a.m. on March 4, 2010 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital on Hardinsburg, KY. He was born June 15, 1937 in Akron, OH a son of the late Branson "Banks" and Lora Elizabeth (Bolyard) Webster. Surviving are; Three sisters; Hazel Lowther of Vine Grove, KY Louise Westlake of Winchester, VA Diana Bartlett of Tulsa, OK One brother; Carl R. Webster of Denver, Co. eight nieces and nephews, eight grand nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday March 6, from 9 a.m.-1p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Shirley Webster officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Fragile X Foundation, PO Box 37 Walnut Creek, CA 94597 or Union Christian Church, 970 Union Christian Church Rd. Hodgenville, KY 42748 in memory of Omar "Sonny" Webster.
