One brother: Jessie Rickard and wife Patsy of Parkersburg, WV
Two grandchildren: Jason Ryan Rickard and Alyssa Jane Rickard of Pittsburgh, PA
Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Junior Rickard, and one sister, Ruby Blessing. Charles worked as an Heavy Equipment Operator for Grafton Coal Co. and also for Barbour Coal Co. He loved watching football and was a member of the Jerusalem United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday July 7, from 5-8 pm and on Sunday July 8, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Tim Bleigh officiating. Interment will follow in the Barbour Memorial Cemetery.
