Clifton E. Vest, age 79, a resident of Belington, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. Clifton was born April 20, 1945, in Buckhannon, WV a son of the late Junior Vest and Viva (Regester) Ware.
Clifton was an avid farmer, he enjoyed working on cars and fishing.
Cliton is survived by children, William Vest, Victoria Vest, Robert Vest all of Belington, and John Vest of Elkins; three grandchildren Robert Vest Jr., Aimerie, and Liam Vest; brother James Vest of French Creek; sisters Kate Posey of Walkersville, and Mary Thorne of Buckhannon; stepbrother David Ware of Cassidy; and several additional stepbrothers and sisters.
In following with Clifton’s request cremation will be honored and a private service will be held at a later date.
