Hattie Marie Nestor, age 65, a resident of Claude Rd. Thornton, passed away Sunday June 30, 2019 at her residence. Hattie was born May 19, 1954 in Grafton a daughter of the late James Earl and Vonda Marie (Auvil) Nestor. Surviving is her companion of 30 years Mike Weaver who survives at home. Also surviving,

Son, Mikey Weaver and wife Brittany of Thornton

Brother, Jimmy Nestor and wife Melissa of Thornton

Granddaughter, Amelia Jade Weaver

Nieces and nephews, Chris Nestor, Dessica “Sissy” Nestor, Tina Sylva and husband Chris, J.W. Nestor, Lynnessa Henderson, and Greg Weaver

Several grandnieces and grandnephews, several cousins and many friends

Hattie was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Sue Hatfield. Hattie loved her farm and enjoyed showing and attending cattle shows.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday July 2, from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday July 3, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Jimmy Johnson and speaker John Richman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Morris Cemetery.

Hugs and prayers to the family! I have lots of memories of Hattie, especially come fair time! Hattie would come by and see my animals every year at the fair, especially on sale night. I loved hearing her stories of her dairy farm. Thanks for always having special tips for the day of the cattle show!! Hattie is rejoicing in Heaven with family and friends!!
