Jessie Elizabeth Marcho

Mrs. Jessie Elizabeth Marcho, age 72, a resident of Elkins, departed this life September 29, 2020 in her home, as a result of declining health.
She was born May 15, 1948 at her family home in Philippi, the daughter of the late Wilda Canfield and Gerald Finley.
Jessie is survived by one son; Phil McDaniel, three daughters; Tina McDaniel, Joi Birthelmer and Kara Studstill, twelve grandchildren; Jessica Marsh, Matthew McDaniel, Chevy McDaniel, Aiesha Evans, Shaquille Evans, Jordyn McDaniel, Jaida McDaniel, Karena Evans, Shalyn Evans, Christian Studstill, Aubrianna Summerfield, Jazlynn Beverly and fifteen great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include two brothers; Gary Finley and wife Alice and Gerald Finley Jr. and wife Doretta, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother David “Kent” Finley.
Jessie attended the schools of Barbour County and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ and attended many churches. She loved listening to music, dancing, cooking, reading scripture and more than anything spending time with her family and friends. She was a very selfless, giving, and loving soul and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday, October 4th, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. In honor of Jessie’s request, cremation will follow services.
