John Edwin Price, Jr., 52, of Westminster, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born July 13, 1960, he was the son of John Edwin Price Sr. and Idola Marsh Price of Moatsville, WV. He was the husband of Pam Price, his wife of 25 years.
He was employed as a maintenance mechanic at Sweetheart-Solo Cup for 31 years. He graduated from Woodlawn High School and Catonsville Community College.
He enjoyed building models and collecting trains, going to Chincoteague Island, fishing, crabbing, deer hunting, gardening and planting corn.
Besides his wife and parents he is survived by a sister Leslie Dean Suchman and husband Robert of Martinsburg, WV and a nephew Robert Dean Suchman. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister Penny Lou Price.
Friends may call at the Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St., Philippi, WV 26416 on Wednesday, July 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, July 4 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service; 11 a.m. with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Nestoville Cemetery in Nestorville, WV.
