Jonathan Correl Croston, age 42, a resident of Philippi passed away Sunday December 30, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family. Jonathan was born September 16, 1976 in Philippi a son of Correl and Rita Faye (Mayle) Croston who survives. Jonathan was united in marriage on July 18, 1998 to Julie Croston who survives at home. Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Maybelle Croston, Arthur and Magnolia Mayle,
Jonathan worked as a salesman for State Electric. He loved spending time with his family, taking beach vacations, he was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed landscaping. Jonathan attended People’s Chapel Church.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut. St. Philippi on Wednesday January 2, from 11 am – 8 pm and on Thursday January 3, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour with Rev. Ruston Seaman officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.
