Louis Avery Evans, Jr.

Louis Avery Evans “Louie”, age 49, a resident of Brownton departed this life on January 27, 2022 at home with his daughter from natural causes.
He was born June 26, 1972 at Broaddus Hospital in Philippi, the son of Sandra and Louis Harris, and step-parents Walter and Sharlene. Louie is survived by his wife Tina McDaniel; one son; Matthew McDaniel of Clarksburg, three daughters; Aiesha Evans of Fairmont, Jordyn McDaniel and fiance Aaron Beverly of Kerens, and Jaida McDaniel of Philippi; six grandchildren; Amara Marks, Brayden McDaniel, Kinleigh McDaniel, Raelynn McDaniel, Astrid McDaniel and Hunner Davis. Additional survivors include one brother Curtis Evans, two sisters Christina Weatherspoon and husband Kevin, Jennifer Harris and fiance Troy, nieces; Karena Evans, Shalyn Evans, Aubrianna Summerfield, Jazzlyn Summerfield, Chloe Weatherspoon, nephews; Chevy McDaniel, Shaquille Evans, Tyrese Mayle, Kevin Weatherspoon and Javon Evans, many great nieces and nephews, aunts, unlces, and cousins.
Louie attended the schools of Barbour County and was employed at Glotfelty Tire of Bridgeport as a tire technician. He was a great pool player, loved playing poker, dancing, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and above all things sharing time and bonding with his children, as he loved being a father and grandfather. Louie was a very selfless, social and kind man and a friend to everyone he encountered. His infectious laugh and free spirit will be missed my many.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4-6pm. The funeral service will be conducted at 6pm.
