Oma McCauley

June 2, 1950 - December 18, 2011

Oma L. McCauley, age 61, a resident of Buckhannon, was called home after an 18 year battle with cancer. She was born June 2, 1950 in Philippi, WV a daughter of Norma (Burner) Bolton who survives at Buckhannon. Also surviving five children:
Michael McCauley and wife Gail of Moundsville
George McCauley and wife Robin of Belington
Tanya Hardy and husband Scott
Andy McCauley
Amy Rice and husband Richard all of Buckhannon

One sister: Sue Wilson and husband Sonny of Canton, OH

Three brothers: Larell Bolton and wife Sue
Allen Bolton
Rick Bolton and Fiancé Belinda Herron all of Buckhannon

12 grandchildren: Zach, Avery, Luke, Sarah, Jacob, Josie, Dacey McCauley, Randy, Owen, Tanner Hardy, Haylee and Drahden Rice.

Ms. McCauley was preceded in death by one brother: Gilbert Bolton, and one sister Libby Bolton.
Ms. McCauley was a caregiver and homemaker. She was an avid crafter, family hair stylist, a wonderful Mother and Grandmother.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday December 20 from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday December 21 from 8 am -2 pm the service hour with Pastor Downing Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Pitman Cemetery.

I am saddened by your loss. Lee was a wonderful person and a fighter. She fought a long hard battle and now she is at peace. She always took care of everyone else (Norma that was something that you taught her). I was proud to have known her and called her my friend. My heart goes out to you.
