Patricia Eileen Sandusky age 67 a resident of Rt. 1 Philippi passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born April 15, 1943 in Amityville Long Island, New York a daughter of the late William and Ave Maria (Riley) Kay. She was united in marriage December 26, 1965 to James L. Sandusky, Sr. who survives. Also surviving:

Kelli Sandusky of New Jersey
One son, James L. Sandusky Jr. and wife Brandi of Cheyenne, WY
Three sisters, Ave Maria Perkins, and husband Ed of Cooper City, FL
Judy Blakeney and husband Brian, of Amityville Long Island, NY
Geri Caulfield and companion Jim, Oakdale Long Island, NY
Two Brothers, Jimmy Kay and wife Linda of Amityville Long Island, NY
Billy Kay and wife Mary Lou of Pembroke Pines, FL
Eight Grandchildren, and Three Great-Grandchildren
Mrs. Sandusky was preceded in by one son, Matthew Sandusky
Mrs. Sandusky in earlier years worked as a school teacher in New Jersey, and the Philippines. She was a girl scout leader, Sunday School Teacher, and was a member of the Barbour Co. American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Sandusky was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Mrs. Sandusky’s request for cremation will be honored.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday October 13, from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. with Fr. Jim O’Connor officiating.
