Regina Gail Norris, age 67, a resident of Moatsville, passed away Tuesday September 26, 2023 in the United Hospital Center. Regina was born May 13, 1956 in Philippi. A daughter of the late Elihue Mayle and Loretta (Collins) Johnson. Regina was united in marriage on January 26, 1974 to Daniel “Danny” Lee Norris who preceded her in death on May 26, 2020.
Surviving are sons Lee Norris and wife Heather of East Canton, OH; Derrick Norris and wife Ashley of Philippi. Grandchildren Autumn Norris, Erin Norris, Aubrey Poling, and Maci Norris. Also surviving are siblings Tommy Mayle and wife Ellen of Louisville, OH; Timmy Mayle of Canton, OH; Michael Mayle and wife Theresa of Minerva, OH; Margaret Dalton and husband Ronnie of Moatsville; Mark Johnson and wife Gretchen of Pennsboro; David Stevens of Canton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Regina was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy Mayle and Wesley Mayle.
Regina loved spending time with her Husband, sons, grandchildren, and family. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and spending time outdoors.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday September 29, from 6-8 pm and on Saturday September 30, from 10 am- 1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Rev. Ezik Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.
