Reverend Webster was a US Army Military Police veteran. He went on to serve the city as a police officer for the city of Philippi. He also served many years in the coal industry for King Knob Coal. Aside from God, family, and work, Reverend Webster also loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
As a man of God, a preacher, a teacher, a friend, a brother, and a mentor, he used the pulpit to bring hope and joy to our community. Reverend Webster left a legacy of hope and promise to those who knew him. He demonstrated to us how to be faithful to the very end.
Surely he will never be shaken; a righteous man will be remembered forever. Psalm 112:6 (NIV)
