Robbie Dale Courtney, age 52, a resident of Philippi, passed away Tuesday March 26, 2024, in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Robbie Dale Courtney, age 52, a resident of Philippi, passed away Tuesday March 26, 2024, in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Robbie was born September 1, 1971, a son of the late Darrell Ray Courtney and Barbara Deborah (Wilson) Foster. Robbie was united in marriage to Stephanie Ray (Delauder) Courtney who survives.
Robbie loved to attend his church Grafton Seventh Day Adventist Church in Grafton. Robbie was a caring person, he loved being around people and helping anyone in need. He enjoyed playing tabletop games especially Dungeons and Dragons, he also liked Star Wars, and anything Sci-Fi.
Also surviving is son Nathan Courtney; brother Jay Courtney and adopted brother John Hood; as well as several close friends and extended family.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and on-site Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday April 4, from 12- 7 pm.
