Robin Lynn Goldsmith, age 63, a resident of Clarksburg, WV, died at his home on Wednesday December 28, 2022. Robin was born July 12, 1959 in Clarksburg, WV a son of the late Carl E. Goldsmith Sr. and Dorothy (Carpenter) Goldsmith. He was also preceded in death by his sisters; Brenda Goldsmith, Josephine Zroske, and Linda Goldsmith; brothers, Carl E. Goldsmith Jr. and Donald R. Robin was united in marriage to Connie L. Morris who survives at home, also surviving is children, Roman Goldsmith and Danielle Newton; step children, Sarah Foster and Michael Foster; sisters, Betty Bosley, Vicky Todd, Dedra Vest, Wendy Ridenhour, and several nieces and nephews; also his k-9 companion Jax
Robin was a truck driver for Omni Trucking, LLC.
Robin loved collecting antiques, zippo lighters, old jewelry, and early McDonald’s toys. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. Robin was a handyman and in earlier years always had shar pei dogs.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi, on Tuesday January 3, 2023 from 1-7 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm with Rev, Troy McCartney officiating. In honor of Robin’s request cremation will follow the services.
