Rosemary Wagner, age 65, a resident of Rt. 4 Mt. Liberty Community Philippi passed away Wednesday December 26, 2012 in Mon General Hospital in Morgantown.She was born October 4, 1947 in Philippi a daughter of the late Russell C. Wagner and Mary Lou (Stalnaker) Wagner who survives at Mt. Liberty Community.Also surviving is two sisters and two brothers,

Danny R. Wagner of Philippi
Frances Greco of Mt. Liberty Community
Philip D. Wagner and husband Lori of Mt. Liberty Community
Nieces and nephews, Jessica Salfia and husband Mark, Jonathan Maunz, Cody and Sam Wagner, Vinny Greco, Anyssa Core and husband Cheyenne, Katie Cox and husband Brian, Andrew Wagner
Great nieces and nephews, Brady Wagner, Addison, Jayce, Dominic Salfia.
Rosemary was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Del Wagner.
She worked as the executive director Region VII Planning and Development Council.
Rosemary was a member of the Barbour Church of Christ, the Mt. Liberty Community Improvement Association, and the Buckhannon Rotary Club. She loved to work with the church youth, and she was instrumental in keeping Mountaineer Christian Youth Camp operating for over 30 years.
Rosemary will be remembered for her love of God and her family, her joy of life, and her selfless generosity.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday December 27, from 4-8 pm. She will be moved to the Barbour Church of Christ on Friday December 28, to lie in state from 9 -11 am. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am with Evangelist Stan Jenkins officiating.Interment will follow in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery.

We were shocked to learn of Rosemary's death. We always enjoyed working with her in many community endeavors. She'll be well-remembered. Our condolences to the family.

I'm sorry that you're hurting, even though you know that Rosemary is better now than she's been for quite some time. Her absence will bring tears, but the wonderful memories you all enjoyed over the years will bring smiles and laughter. Let the prayers raised on your behalf comfort and strengthen you!! Rosemary was a good friend of ours during the Davis & Elkins College days. She always had a good nature and was a good sport. It appeared that she carried those wonderful attributes throughout her adulthood - giving her time, talents, and love to those around her (family, friends, and community). Bless her. We love you, Rosemary....Dapper, Walker, Scratch, Ono.

So saddeden to learn of Rosemary's passing. May God give strength to those left behind especially during this difficult time. Know that she is nol Longer in pain and sits on the right hand of the Father.

1965 Classmate. So sorry to hear we have lost such a good lady!!

Rosemary and I were classmates and were in the band together. We had such fun times together. I moved away from W.Va. in 1986 and never seen her again, but she was one classmate that remained in my good memories from so long ago. I have heard so many good things about her from previous friends and all of the wonderful things she had accomplished as I knew along time ago that she would do. She will begin a new and much more important line of work now that she has left us and she will do an exceptional job; once again.

Our deepest sympathies to Rosemary's family. As chairman of Region VII for many years, I experienced Rosemary's dedication to her job and her commitment to those she served. Rosemary was a dear friend who we all will miss. But as a Christian, she is now in the arms of our Savior and one day we will be reunited.

My heart is sadden by the passing of my friend, Rosemary. I will hold on to many fond memories of her and our times at camp. She had beautiful kind soul and was very nuturing. I know heaven gained and angel.

We would like to extend my condolences to Rosemary's Family. Rosemary was a fine lady. She well be by all that knew here.

My dear cousin Rosemary who was like a sister to me when we were children. We played together, we got mad at each other and I was even a little envious of you, especially at Easter time. Doesn't that sound like sisters!! When we played as children, I never got my way of playing with "dollies" because it was always "cowboys & indians," your way of course!! At Easter I thought you were the most beautiful little girl at Church with your long curls, white gloves, patent leather shoes, hat, purse and new dress and you looked like a picture in a book. There I sat in the pew in a new dress of course but looking like an oversized fat model!! But I loved you as a sister and still do. I will keep the picture Armen took of you & me at the Church potluck on my cell phone and look at it everyday. I also have one of the two of you together. I remember you liked him as a pre-teen but you later gave him to me. Thanks Rosie!! I will miss your beautiful smiling face and especially treasure all the memories of our childhood. Sad to learn of Rosemary's passing. She was so sweet and will be greatly missed.

My sincerest condolences to Rosmary's family, friends and the Region 7 Planning & Development Council staff.

Rosemary's memory will live on in her legacy of work in our state, our county, our youth and our community. Jo and I will remember her family in our prayers. Rosemary officially retired from her work effective December 31, but God had other plans and a new position waiting for her.

We send all of our love, thoughts, and prayers to the entire Wagner family. Rosemary was a very kind and caring person, and was good to all people. May God be with each of you in the days and weeks ahead.

Will be missed by many. Rosemary loved her community and worked tirelessly to make it a better place.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Mom remembers school with Rosemary and growing up at Mt. Liberty with her. I remember Rosemary being in charge of the girl's dorm at camp- she caught us sneaking out once but didnt turn us in! :) So sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you all!

I have had the pleasure of working with Rosemary for over a decade. She will be sorely missed in her "Communities." Very few people work as hard for their region as she did.

We send all of our love, thoughts, and prayers to the entire Wagner family. We played together as small toddlers, unfortunately I never had the chance to know you as an adult. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

So sorry to hear about Rosemary. We graduated from PB together. Had lots of fun in band and other things together in high school.

So sorry for you loss,Rosemary was a very friendly and special person. I remmember her from our younger days from living on the 4H road she was always visiting her family and we lived next door. I also got to see her a couple years ago as she came to the motel in Belington to make arrangements for her church group she will be missed by all. But God has a plan for her.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Rosemary. I met her through Region IV, she helped us get water into Whitmer and surrounding areas. I pray God sends all of her loved ones comfort during the up coming days.

I am saddened to learn of Rosemary's passing. I knew she had health issues, but did not know she had been ill recently. I got to know her when I worked as a reporter and covered the meetings of Region VII. I especially enjoyed her sense of humor and her friendship... Sincere sympathy to her family.

What a wonderful friend, daughter, aunt, and Christian Rosemary was! I will miss her jovial personality and I feel that it was an honor to be her friend. God Bless Your Family!

It is so hard to believe that Rosemary is gone from our midst. She has been carried by angels to Abraham's bosom and is free now from her pain and suffering. The one true hope she had was that of eternal life. She desperately wanted hope for a longer life but no one could give her that. They say we should not count time in years, but in smiles, and for that, Rosemary was the best...always smiling and making everyone around her smile. I will certainly miss her, especially in October when I will want to ask her how it feels to be older than I. She never failed to give me a smart answer to that question which was exactly what I expected. And when I make the hot dog chili I will remember our little secret, which we discovered by accident, for the best ever hot dog chili. She was Rosemary Thyme to me...I was Parsley Sage to her. That is how it was and always will be.
